monday 5:00pm - 7:00pm friday 1:00pm - 3:00pmour food pantry was established when a small group of our church chose this outreach as a mission project. the pantry grew from being a small closet in the church office into a complete food pantry that is located in our new building next on foote road. we currently serve over 100 families in our community.clients of the pantry must live in the 44256 zip code area. first time clients must show a photo id and proof of residency such as a utility bill. each qualifying family is given a shopping list and they are allowed to choose 30 items from what we have on hand. these items include 3 main meals, 2 side dishes,4 fruits, 4 vegetables, 4 misc. items, 1 baked goods, 2 soups, 2 breakfast items, 2 drinks, 2 cleaning products, 2 paper products, and 2 personal hygiene items. visits are limited to one time per month.prayer support as needed is offered at the pantry and free bibles are available. we also have literature on the other food pantries and agencies in the county that may be of assistance to them. we listen and give them encouragement and support. we are supported strictly by donation of food and money from our congregation and interested organizations in the community.we are members of the akron canton food bank, and the medina county coalition of pantries. together in god's work we are making a difference. contact the church office with questions or for additional information.
